Musician, Composer, and Educator from Chicago, Illinois, currently based in New York City.

• Collaborated with legendary artists like John Patitucci, Kris Davis, and Mehmet Ali Sanlikol.

• Awarded Outstanding Trumpet Soloist in the 2020 Jazz Rudin Jazz Championship by Wynton Marsalis; participated in the prestigious 2019 Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program; placed third in the 2019 National Trumpet Competition Jazz Division and placed as a semifinalist in the small classical ensemble division.

• Performed at The Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, BBC Radio Foyle, Ulster Hall, Panama Jazz Festival, Rochester International Jazz Festival, and the San Jose Jazz Festival.

• M.M. Summa Cum Laude in Contemporary Jazz Performance from Berklee College of Music.

• B.M. in Jazz Studies and Contemporary Media from the Eastman School of Music.

• Three years of daily experience in public school classrooms and after-school programs (K-12).

• Maintains a weekly private studio teaching trumpet, piano, music theory and production.
